Five gold stars, one big thank you

For the fifth year running, Pura Aventura has been awarded Feefo’s Gold Trusted Service Award.

In case you don’t know the score, Feefo gathers reviews from all Pura clients upon their return from their travels. Because we upload the contacts to Feefo prior to travel, we can’t simply ask happy customers to review us - it goes to everyone. And another thing, we ask people to review both our service AND their holiday.

Most travel companies on the Feefo platform only allow people to review their service, often before people have actually travelled, which seems a tad strange to me.

To achieve Gold status, we need to score a minimum average score of 4.5/5.0 over the course of 2018, we actually got 4.8, touching 4.9 so that’s around 97% rating overall. In fact, our lowest score was one 3* review from someone who didn’t like their vehicle on the Carretera Austral of southern Chile (at the risk of sounding defensive, we use the largest 4x4 available, Toyota 4Runner, most people are more than happy with those).

I don’t pretend that everything we do is perfect, that much is apparent from a score of 4.8/5.0, but we try very hard. As Vince Lombardi, famous NFL coach and all round man-ahead-of-his-time, said to his record breaking Green Bay Packers team:

"Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence."
