Fly to Rio de Janeiro. Relax in your hotel in the pretty colonial part of the city.
Day 2 | Rio de Janeiro | Sugar Loaf Mountain
Explore Rio with your guide. Visit the hill top

Day 3 | Rio de Janeiro | Explore Rio
Day to relax and explore, head to Ipanema beach. (b)
Day 4 | Iguacu | Relax & travel
Fly to Iguacu and your hotel on the edge of the falls. (b)
Day 5 | Iguacu | Explore the falls
Tour the waterfalls with a jeep ride through the Iguaçu National Park and a boat ride out under the falls. Afternoon at leisure to explore them on foot or even from a helicopter. (b)
Day 6 | Pantanal | Travel to the Pantanal
Travel deep into the Pantanal today, the world’s largest freshwater wetland. Stay at a comfortable lodge. (b,l,d)
Day 7 | Pantanal | Explore the wetlands
Spot wildlife with your expert guide today, look for giant anteaters, capybara or even puma. (b,l,d)
Day 8 | Pantanal | Wildlife spotting by boat
Take a boat to look for caiman and giant otters along the river. Ride horses or explore on foot this afternoon. (b,l,d)
Day 9 | Pantanal | Ride bikes & canoe
Cycling or walk the ecological trails through the wetlands to see a beautiful variety of birds. Try your hand at conoeing with your guide this afternoon. (b,l,d)
Day 10 | Paraty | Travel & relax
Travel to the coast to stay in a remote beach hideaway. Your hotel is small and informal set in a national park on a beautiful stretch of coastline. (b,d)
Day 11 | Paraty | Relax on the beach
Walk along the beach, swim and enjoy fresh seafood for lunch.
In the afternoon take a short boat ride to a shallow natural pool where you can snorkel. (b,d)
Day 12 | Paraty | Relax & explore the coast
Relax or take a schooner along the coast. Your pousada hotel is set in a rich antural environment which combines beaches, forests and mountains, all within easy reach. (b,d)
Day 13 | Paraty | Relax & enjoy the beach
Relax or kayak to a secluded beach. Most places of interest are close to the village and the hotel and can be reached on foot, kayak or by boat. (b,d)

Travel by road to Sao Paolo and fly north to the Amazon. Travel to your lodge on a tributary of the Amazon River. (b)

The lodge is actaully on a floating platform which is moved several times a year in order to optimise wildlife viewing. The lodge is run on sustainable grounds but is also comfortable and spacious. (b,l,d)
Day 16 | Amazon | Explore by canoe
Explore with your expert local guides. Learn about medicinal plants and explore the river by canoe, keep an eye out for pink river dolphins. (b,l,d)
Day 17 | Amazon | Explore on foot
As well as the flooded rainforest there are areas to explore on fott from the lodge. Walk throught the dense highland rainforest to see giant brazil nut trees, red woods and rubber trees. (b,l,d)
Day 18 | Salvador | Travel home
Travel back to Manaus from where you fly to Sao Paolo and connect with your flight home. (b)
Day 19 | Home | Arrive back
