Self Drive Walking Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 | Seville | Arrive and Explore
Arrive and settle in to your
charming hotel in the heart of the old quarter. Try and catch some flamenco this evening.
Day 2 | Seville | Explore Seville
Explore Seville’s enormous Cathedral to see the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Take in the Moorish architecture and the impressive Alcazar castle. (b)
Day 3 | Aracena | Walk in the Aracena Hills
Collect your car drive 1½ hrs to the Aracena Hills. Take a walk after lunch, maps and walking notes provided. Meet your guide this evening to help you settle in. (b)
Walk 11km, 3hrs, up 50m, down 50m
Day 4 | Aracena | Explore Aracena
Visiting the village of Aracena. Take a circular walk into the hills and forests surrounding the town. (b)
Walk 18km, 5hrs, up 50m, down 50m
Day 5 | Cadiz Beach | Explore Alcornocales National Park
Drive south towards Cadiz and Tarifa. Stay in a small hotel on a hill above the coast.
The hotel borders the Alcorncales National Park so you can walk directly to this bird rich habitat. (b)
Day 6 | Cadiz Beach | Coastal Walk
Spend today walking along the coast nearby.
Head down to the beach at the end of the day for a swim. Enjoy dinner in the village – it is a 500m walk to three different restaurants.

Day 7 | Cadiz Beach | Walk in the Hills
Drive to the Grazalema hills for a day walking beneath spectacular limestone cliffs through a landscape of gullies, caverns and gorges.
See lion buzzards, goshawks, vultures and eagles. (b)
Day 8 | Travel | Return home
Fly home from either Jerez or Seville. (b)
