Day 1 | Fly to Chile |
Day 2 | Santiago | Walking tour
Arrive in Santiago this morning. Short walking tour and relax this afternoon.
Day 3 | Pucón | Ride horses into the Andes
Short morning flight south to the Lake District. Enjoy a relaxed horse ride through a beautiful area of forests, mountains, volcanoes and lakes. Sleep in river side cabins. (b,l,d)
Day 4 | Pucón | Walk to the top of a volcano
Walk to the summit of Villarica volcano.
From the top you have views right across the Andes into Argentina. (b,l)
Day 5 | Pucón | Raft the Trancura river
The river is a great fun combination of grade III and IV rapids.
After a few fun hours in the water lunch is a traditional asado (spit roast lamb) on a ranch. (b,l)
Day 6 | Alerce | Relax in a remote lodge
Travel south through the lake district to the ancient Alerce forest to see 4,000 year old trees - spend 2 nights in an exclusive lodge in the forest.

Day 7 | Alerce | Walk in ancient forest
Enjoy the silence, walk through the forest or relax in the outdoor hot pool. (b,l,d)
Day 8 | Puerto Natales | Fly to Patagonia
Fly over the ice fields to Patagonia.

Day 9 | Torres del Paine | River boat into Park
Enter the National Park by river and see the Torres del Paine for the first time.
Sleep in comfort on the edge of the iceberg filled Lago Grey. (b,l,d)
Day 10 | Torres del Paine | Ride horses across wild grasslands
Morning horse ride for views across lakes to the mountains. Afternoon stroll along the lakeshore. (b,l,d)
Day 11 | Torres del Paine | Walk on a glacier
Morning boat ride to the face of Glacier Grey. Afternoon walk on top of the glacier. Spend the next 2 nights in refugios: these are basically serviced mountain huts. (b,l,d)
Day 12 | Torres del Paine | Walk past peaks
Relaxed day walking through the park. Porters carry your bags. (b,l,d)
Day 13 | Torres del Paine | Explore the park
Spend today outside crossing the park. Take a boat across Lake Pehoe to a waterfall, continue to your comfortable lodge. (b,l,d)
Day 14 | Torres del Paine | Hike to the Torres
Walk to the granite towers (torres) which give the park its name, return to your lodge to celebrate. (b,l,d)
Day 15 | Travel | Return to Santiago
Today is a long travel day. Enjoy your last night in Chile this evening. (b)
Day 16 | Santiago | Depart for home
Free morning to explore the city before flying home (flight times may vary). (b)
